Yulin Dog Meat Festival Protest, Guanxi, China, June 2012

936920_327846580677395_511075319_nThis was the scene at last years 2012 Dog Meat Eating Festival.. Ms Du Yufeng, founder of Bo’ai Animal Protection Centre played an important role as always in an attempt to stop this festival..The Festival is due to start again on 21st June 2013..PETA attempted to stop the festival last year but the only difference was they slaughtered the dogs behind closed doors instead of in public..A group of Chinese dog lovers led by Chinese action artist Pian Shan Kong came to a dog meat market in YULIN CITY IN CHINA ( Festival of Dog Eating ) of Guangxi campaigning against eating dog. Pian Shan Kong even knelt down in front of the dead dogs in the market, confessing sins and apologizing to the dogs. Take notice of how he is mocked by the employees…

  5. Everyone is angry.. I don’t get it. There’s no way killing one animal is OK but another isn’t. Unless you are all vegetarians you are all idiots.

  9. The only thing I can think of to say is ‘screw you, China. Your country is feral, and is full of ferals attempting to masquerade as humans. But there is nothing faintly humane about your shit stain of a country.
